With rumors running rampant that Steven Tyler will sign on as a judge for American Idol, TMZ asked Tyler about the gig at a red carpet event in Las Vegas over the weekend. "I'm probably going to be a judge on American Idol. I'm doing it. What do you think? I'm doing it," Tyler told TMZ. Additionally, on Monday's syndicated Kidd Kraddick In The Morning radio show, Tyler explained, "It's just a work in progress. [Fox] mentioned it and I listened, and we're on tour, so I gotta give it some time." He also talked about what his experience would add to the show. "I would be honest to the ones that think they have it, and I would be truthful in the sense that if, to those that have it, they don't have it yet enough. And I would tell them exactly why, as I see it," he told Kraddick.
