In the past week, footage from Aerosmith’s live shows has come out and shows guitarist Joe Perry inadvertently knocking singer Steven Tyler off the stage and Steven accidentally clocking Joe in the head with a mic stand. Now, Perry is addressing the issues on Twitter. The rocker wrote that the media is making it seem like the band is fighting but explained live music is “a contact sport.” He said “accidents happen” and added that he gets “pissed off” when he’s made out to be a villain and advises fans to “use your own eyes and ears.” Joe goes on to say that even with all the craziness, he’s “gonna see this [tour] through.” Read more at Twitter.com/AdmiralPerry.
• Joe revealed when he was hit in the head by the mic stand, EMTs wanted him to go to the emergency room but he chose to finish the show as his head bled.
