U2's 360 Tour brakes record

Sunday's U2 concert (4/10/11) in San Paolo, Brazil will make history, as the 360 Tour will officially become the highest-grossing concert tour in history. With their second show at San Paolo's Morumbi Stadium, U2 will break The Rolling Stones' $558 million record, set on the 2005-2007 "Bigger Bang" tour. Billboard reports that U2's 360 Tour will end up grossing around $700 million by the time it ends this summer in Canada.

U2 360 returns to North America for its final leg, starting May 21 in Denver. When all is said and done, the tour will have sold over seven million tickets to 110 concerts, making it the most-attended tour of all time as well. The current record holder is also the Stones, whose 1994-1995 "Voodoo Lounge" tour holds the current record with 6.4 million.
