Back in 1976, Paul McCartney and John Lennon almost reunited on Saturday Night Live and now, Paul is talking about what happened. He told Access Hollywood that he was in New York visiting John when SNL producer Lorne Michaels offered them three-thousand dollars to reunite on the show. Lennon was for it, figuring it was a quick way to make some money, but they ultimately decided against it since, as Paul said, “It would have been work and we were having a night off.” He added though that they “nearly did it.”
