The first look of Al Pacino as Phil Spector has hit the the internet. Decked in a snappy waistcoat and tinted sunglasses, Pacino dons a big-haired wig to emulate the producer, famous for creating the 'Wall of Sound' and producing many classic albums, including mixing The Beatles' Let it Be.
His musical history has since been overshadowed, however, as Spector is currently serving 19 years in jail for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
The HBO film will be written by legendary playwright, David Mamet. Mamet has worked with Pacino before, on Glengarry Glen Ross.
This is going to be good. Glengarry Glen Ross was a great movie. Al's such a stellar actor.
