Van Halen... No show @ Grammys ???

Dispite all the rumors on the web... nothing related to Van Halen happened at the Grammy Nominations ceremony last night... wich is BULLSHIT!

So what happened???  This is what Neil Portnow, chairman of The Recording Academy, said:  “In the world of creativity, everything is fluid. In the process of discussions that we had been having with an expectation that perhaps we would be at a point tonight where the artist involved and we, moving forward, would be ready to announce [a reunion], they weren’t quite at that point. So it’s live television, we go on to the next act. It’s rock and roll and so on. That being said, we were genuine about the intention and we are genuine about the discussion.”

 Why would the Grammy folks post lies on their Tweeter & make VH fans wait on pins & needles, just to leaves us hanging??? I beleive the Grammy's have always be fixxed. Never been a big fan. The Academy recognized hard rock music for the first time in 1989 under the category Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal or Instrumental. Jethro Tull won the award, beating Metallica, who were expected to win with the album "And Justice for All". This BS choice led to widespread criticism of the Grammy's, as folks suggested that Tull's music didn't belong in the hard rock or heavy metal genres. I’m pissed-off like other VH fans on the web & we're sick of the drama. I feel like we received the middle finger from Van Halen as a show of how they appreciate our loyalty. WTF??? :{
Now it appears Van Halen will make their "big" announcement in January
