Van Halen up-date

The Van Halen News Desk reports that ‘Tattoo’ will be available to fans on Jan. 10. The song — from the still untitled album due in stores and at digital retailers on Feb. 7. Little is known about the track but there are also rumors that a music video could surface on the same day.


Jan. 10 is when tickets for the band’s 2012 tour go on sale as well. Although official dates have not yet been announced, the band’s official website promises the on-sale date with three fast-paced, highly produced music videos featuring Roth, the Van Halen brothers and Wolfgang Van Halen. The Van Halen News Desk reports that the tour will kick off as early as next month, in Louisville, Ken. But before all of that, the band will reportedly play a short club date this Thursday (Jan. 5) in New York City, at the 250-capacity Cafe Wha?, which used to be owned by David Lee Roth’s uncle.
