My Review of Van Halens new album

From Tannrrs desk -
Now that I've had the chance to listen to "A Different Kind Of Truth" 7 times over the Weekend - Here's what I think....

1. "Tattoo"- O.K. tune, Was hopping for a Kick-Ass "In Your Face" song to be released as the fist single, Heard it on the radio enough already :(

2. "She's The Woman"- Cool song, The riffs song like "Mean Streets" off the "Fair Warning" album? But the song ends too quick.

3. "You And Your Blues"- O.K. Some cool riffs. Sounds like "Don't Tell Me What Love Can Do" from the 'Balance' album?

4. "China Town"- Good tune. Fast song, Fast beat, Mabey it would have been better if they'd slowed it down?

5. "Blood & Fire"- Jammin' tune! Sounds like the other tunes off the 'Balance' album sessions (Except David is singing instead of Sammy)?

6. "Bullethead"- Rocks, Old school Van Halen, Kinda souds like "Warheads" by Extreme?

7. "As Is"- Rocks, Another Fast song, Eddie ripps on this tune, Crank up the bass so you feel it!

8. "Honeybabysweetiedoll"- Strange start to the song, Mean main riffs, Killer bass, Do I hear a dog barking???

9. "The Touble With Never"- Not sure about this one? Mabey it will grow on me the more I listen to it???

10 "Outta Space"- Mean, Strong beginning, Sonds like  old school Van Halen, Great song, Classic Eddie solo!

11. "Stay Frosty"- Best song on the whole album! It's a cross between "Jamies Crying" & "Ice Cream Man"? Starts out like a cute little tune... Then it blows up in your face!!! Awesome!!!!

12. "Big River"- Classic Van Halen, Great rockin' beat, I can dance to this, Classic Eddie solo.

13. "Beats Workin"- Another Van Halen classic, Great tune, Great riffs, Cool Eddie fade-a-way at the end of song.
