Creed up-date

Frontman Scott Stapp says Creed is about halfway through recording new songs for the upcoming release. “We spent about three to four weeks together jamming and writing new material,” Stapp told Rolling Stone of the session with original guitarist Mark Tremonti, bass player Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. “We feel five [new songs] have the symmetry and continuity within themselves and will make the record. So if you want to look at it from that perspective, we’re halfway there.
