R.I.P. Davy Jones

The medical examiner’s office for Martin County, Florida confirmed to TMZ they received a call from Martin Memorial Hospital informing them that Jones had passed away. Jones joined The Monkees in 1965. Often compared to the Beatles, the band and Jones became an overnight sensations, scoring hits with singles such as “Last Train To Clarksville,” “I’m A Believer,” “Stepping Stone” and “Pleasant Valley Sunday.” Jones sang lead on the classics “Daydream Believer” and “I Wanna Be Free.” Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and 4 daughters from previous marriages. 
He was 66-years-old.
