Levon Helm dead at 71

Levon Helm died on April 19 in New York of throat cancer
He was 71 years old. Helm - drummer (and the only American-born member) of the legendary Canadian rock group The Band. He was also the lead vocalist on many of the classic Band tracks, including "The Weight," "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" and "Up on Cripple Creek."
