Metallica up-date

Metallica have been providing periodic updates to fans about the progress they have been making on their new studio album but up until now they had not revealed who is producing the effort. 

Guitarist Kirk Hammett has now changed that. Hammett reveals in a new interview with AltPress that the band has been working with Greg Fidelman (Slayer, Black Sabbath, Slipknot, System Of A Down, Adele). 

Kirk says, "We're pretty much doing it with Greg Fidelman." But he then adds, "He is in the mix. As far as what the final outcome will be, I don't know. We have not brought in any [other] producer and it looks extremely [unlikely] we'd bring one in this late into the project."
